The Nebraska Center for Mass Spectometry is a state of the art mass
spectrometric facility whose primary function is to serve the needs of the
University
of Nebraska research community. A secondary focus is to provide fee-based
MS services to the research community at large, both industrial and academic.
Currently we have seven instruments available for analysis that provide
a range of ionization techniques for sample analysis. They include electron
ionization (EI), chemical ionization (CI), fast atom bombardment (FAB), electrospray
ionization (ESI) and matrix-assisted laser desorption (MALDI). Additionally,
multiple MS experiments (MS
n) for sequencing are also available.
